"As an experienced theatre actor my interest in attending Sue Manger's and Ben Parkinson's joint workshop was centered around gaining key information particular to the TV and film industry audition process. Knowing they are experienced practitioners in their respective fields (TV & TVCs), I was curious to know more about the industry from their perspectives. The workshop was largely focussed on a series of practical exercises which helped to demonstrate and consolidate the information addressed in their introduction. Within almost 5 minutes of the workshop commencing I was asked to perform an audition piece of my choice in front of the whole class: active participation was heavily encouraged and the critical feedback was of great benefit.
The networking aspect of this workshop was also instrumental to my success in securing a TVC from a casting I was invited to attend two days later as a direct result of my attendance. Consequently, I highly recommend Sue Manger's and Ben Parkinson's workshops for anyone looking to extend their skills base in the industry."
